When George Stonehouse TAYLOR was born on February 18, 1810, in Knottingley, England, his father, William, was 39 and his mother, Anne, was 33. He married Anne BOURNE on February 21, 1831, in St BrideFleet St, England. They had nine children in 22 years. He died on September 21, 1881, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 67, and was buried in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
