Martha Shipman Andrews, editor, with an introduction by Richard A. Melzer
A graduate of Wellesley College, Martha Shipman Andrews
received her Masters Degree in Library and Information
Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She is
presently University Archivist and assistant professor at
New Mexico State University, Las Cruces.
Richard
Melzer is a professor of history at the University of New
Mexico’s Valencia Campus. A specialist in 20th century
New Mexico history, he has written ten books and over a
hundred articles about the Southwest. He is currently the
president of the Historical Society of New
Mexico.
